Intro to Machine Embroidery: In-The-Hoop Daisy Pocket Pouch
with Cath Quinlan (2.5 hour morning session)
10am to 12.30noon, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

The Daisy Pocket Pouch is a double-sided bag that will show you two different methods of inserting zips in the hoop.  The entire bag is stitched on the embroidery machine with some creative quilting and monograming.  The inside is fully lined with two complete compartments to store all your accessories for your next day out.  This class is all machine work. Hoops and Singer Embroidery machines will be supplied for students’ use. Fee: $65 (plus $25 kit fee)

Suits all skill levels, no prerequisite skills needed

Class kit contains: Fabric, stabiliser, embroidery threads & Bobbin Fill  (for in class use only), two zippers & pulls, two swivel clasps.

Students need to bring: thread snips,  tweezers, fabric scissors, sticky tape

Kit fee: $25 to be paid to the teacher direct at the start of the class

Intro to Machine Embroidery: In-The-Hoop Emmy Doll with Cath Quinlan (2.5 hour afternoon session)
1.30pm to 4.00pm, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

The ITH Emmy Doll is a project designed for the ultimate beginner to the fun-loving experienced machine embroiderer.  Learn to embroider on the Singer EM9305, applique in the hoop, add ribbon and hair and create a turn through project that is finished in a jiffy.

All dolls will have individual colouring.  No special requests taken. This class is all machine work. Hoops and Singer EM9305 machines will be supplied for students’ use. Fee: $65 (plus $25 kit fee)
